Legal notice

Last updated: 14 September 2026

Under Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), this notice identifies the owner of Fiestas Lanzarote and sets out the terms of use of the fiestaslanzarote.com website and the Fiestas Lanzarote mobile app.

1. Owner

2. What Fiestas Lanzarote is

Fiestas Lanzarote is an information guide to popular fiestas, verbenas (open-air dances), romerías (pilgrimages), concerts and other events in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. It includes an events calendar, an interactive map of fiestas and venues, transport information (buses, special extra services, taxis and the ferry) and public organiser profiles.

It is an independent project: it is not an official service of the Cabildo de Lanzarote (island council) or of the island's town councils, it does not organise the events it lists and it does not sell tickets.

3. Terms of use

Access to the website and the app is free and requires no registration. By using them you accept this legal notice and agree to use their content and services lawfully and appropriately. In particular, you may not:

  • Submit false, offensive or unlawful information through the form, or content that infringes the rights of others (for example, posters or photos you do not have permission to share).
  • Try to access the private areas (organiser or admin panels) without authorisation, or damage, overload or interfere with the website or the app.
  • Extract content in bulk or by automated means to reuse it without permission.

4. Event information

Listings come from public sources (town councils, organisers, press and social media), from user submissions and from organisers themselves. We review them carefully, but dates, times, venues, prices, routes and transport services may change or be cancelled without our being told.

The information is therefore for guidance only: check the details with the organiser or transport operator before you set off. Fiestas Lanzarote is not responsible for changes, cancellations or anything that happens at the events, whose organisation and safety are the responsibility of their organisers.

5. Content from organisers and users

Organisers with a panel account publish their events and profile directly, and are responsible for the accuracy of that information and for holding the rights to the texts, logos and images they upload. Fiestas sent through the submission form are reviewed by hand before they are published.

If you find content that is inaccurate, unlawful or infringes your rights, email us at info@koradigitalsolutions.com with the link and the reason. We will review it and, where appropriate, correct or remove it promptly.

6. Intellectual and industrial property

The design, code, original texts, brand and logos of Fiestas Lanzarote belong to their owner or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced, distributed or modified for commercial purposes without prior permission.

Event and organiser posters, photos and logos belong to their authors or rights holders and are shown to publicise the event. If you own any of them and would rather it did not appear, write to us and we will remove it.

Map and venue data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Map images are served by OpenFreeMap.

7. Links to other sites

The website and the app link to third-party sites (ticket sellers, social networks, organiser websites, WhatsApp, Google Calendar or OpenStreetMap). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy policies.

8. Liability

We work to keep the website and the app running continuously and securely, but we cannot guarantee they will be free of interruptions, errors or harmful elements beyond our control. The owner is not liable for damage arising from misuse of the website or the app or from information provided by third parties, without prejudice to applicable law.

9. Data protection and cookies

How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy, and our use of cookies and local storage in the cookie policy.

10. Governing law

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction under the law; if you are a consumer, those of your place of residence.

11. Changes

We may update this legal notice to reflect changes to the website, the app or the law. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
