Cookie policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information. This policy explains which ones we use, in line with Article 22(2) of the LSSI-CE and the cookie guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

1. In short

Fiestas Lanzarote only uses technical cookies, which are essential for parts of the website to work. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, so we do not need to ask for your consent or show you a cookie banner.

2. Cookies on the website

On the fiesta submission page, Cloudflare Turnstile analyses technical browser signals to check that you are not a bot. It is used for security only, never for tracking or advertising.

These cookies are exempt from consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request or to keep it secure.

3. Third-party content and external links

The map loads its images from OpenFreeMap, which according to its policy does not use cookies. We do not embed videos, social media widgets or other content that sets third-party cookies. If you follow an external link (WhatsApp, Google Calendar, Instagram, ticket sellers…), the destination site may use its own cookies, governed by its own policy.

4. Mobile app

The app does not use cookies. It keeps the following in your device's local storage:

  • Your favourites: the list of fiestas you save. It never leaves your device.
  • Organiser session: if you log in to the creator panel, so you do not have to enter your password every time. It is deleted when you log out.
  • Image and map cache: temporary copies that help the app load faster.

Everything is deleted when you uninstall the app. The app includes no analytics or advertising tools.

5. How to manage or delete cookies

You can allow, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block technical cookies, your language may not be remembered or you may be unable to log in to the panel. Instructions for the most common browsers:

6. Changes

If we ever add cookies that require your consent (for example, analytics cookies), we will update this policy and ask for your permission before setting them, making rejecting them as easy as accepting.
