Three Kings Parade in Arrecife

A grand Christmas parade in which the Three Kings ride through the city on the evening of 5 January, the eve of Epiphany. In Lanzarote they traditionally arrive on camels, with floats, pages and an entourage handing out sweets; the main route usually runs from Puerto Naos to Islas Canarias Park, after Their Majesties visit the different neighbourhoods. In recent years, inclusive, low-noise zones have been set up for people with reduced mobility or sensory needs.
