The patron-saint festival of Ye, at the foot of the La Corona volcano, honours St Francis Xavier. Its signature event is the offering pilgrimage: revellers in traditional mago costume process with Canarian folk music up to the church where the patron awaits. The day ends with a Parranda Night of grilled sardines and wines from northern Lanzarote, alongside Mass, open-air dances and cultural events.
