Máguez's summer festival honours St Peter (San Pedro). It features Mass and procession, open-air dances, craft workshops, card and traditional-game tournaments, theatre, children's activities, bingo and live music. It is one of the village's two annual festivals, alongside Santa Bárbara in December.
