Municipal carnival that each year revolves around a theme (in 2026, 'The Vikings'). It features the Grand Carnival Gala with troupes, batucadas, a drag show and dance schools; the Grand Coso parade with floats and costumed revellers setting off from Plaza de los Dolores; the daytime 'Carnaval de Día'; and popular street dances, including the traditional 'Verbena de la Sábana' (Sheet Party). It is a deeply rooted and eagerly awaited event in the municipality.
