This wine festival recreates the traditional grape harvest in the protected landscape of La Geria, with its characteristic 'picón' (lapilli) hollows that shelter the vines. It revives the historic sight of camels carrying grapes to the wineries and makes wine by hand through grape-treading, with volcanic Malvasía among the first varieties picked. It features folk music, parrandas, tastings of DO Lanzarote wines and events in honour of the Virgin of La Caridad.
