La Magdalena and Sacred Heart Festival (Conil)

The festivities of the village of Conil in honour of Our Lady Magdalene and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. They combine religious services and processions with a popular romería —held jointly with Masdache, setting off from the Entre Montañas chapel towards the church— and the Grape Harvest party, where locals are encouraged to wear original wine-themed hats. The programme usually features folk music, popular gatherings, food contests, children's games, Canarian wrestling and traditional tournaments such as bola and chinchón.
