The coastal village of Los Cocoteros celebrates its fiesta, known as the Fiesta de la Luz, over the first half of August. It blends traditional-games and sports contests, food-and-drink stalls, theme nights, music and the traditional Lantern Walk on August 14. The exact programme varies each year.
