Feast of Our Lady of Regla (La Vegueta)

Patronal festival of the village of La Vegueta in honour of Our Lady of Regla, a devotion with deep roots linked to the sanctuary of Regla in Chipiona (Cádiz). On the main day, 2 July, there is a solemn Mass and a well-attended procession accompanied by the Tinajo Municipal Band and the Timbayba folk group. The programme, which runs for more than two weeks, blends religious ceremonies with cultural and sporting events: literary walks, parrandas, open-air theatre, playback contests, workshops, wine tastings, popular barbecues, children's activities and the well-loved La Vegueta Trail through the municipality's volcanic landscapes.
