The patron-saint celebrations of the farming village of La Asomada in honour of Saint Joseph the Worker. Simple and deeply community-rooted, they revolve around the mass and procession on the 1st of May. The programme usually features folk-music gatherings, a parranda night, a song festival, a communal barbecue, a dessert contest, open-air dances, theatre and sports and leisure tournaments for the whole family.
