San Luis Gonzaga Festival (Las Breñas)

The patron saint festivities of Las Breñas in honour of San Luis Gonzaga, with a strong emphasis on Canarian folklore. On the main day, 21 June, the solemn Mass and procession are accompanied by the Municipal Band, with folk groups and the town choir welcoming the saint in the square. A highlight is the 'Víctor Fernández Gopar' folk gathering (named after the local poet), alongside traditional card and table-game tournaments (ronda, envite, chinchón), Canarian bowls, children's activities and an open-air dance.
