The village of Tiagua's patronal fiesta in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, with religious ceremonies, a procession and open-air dances. Tiagua also keeps alive the memory of the Toro de Tiagua, a carnival tradition of the island's midlands. The exact programme varies each year.
