Feast of the Virgen del Pilar (El Cuchillo)

Patronal festival of El Cuchillo in honour of the Virgen del Pilar, whose main place of worship in Lanzarote is this village's Pilar chapel. On 12 October there is a Mass and a street procession of the statue, with music and broad local participation. Throughout the festival days, the Sociocultural Centre hosts Canarian bowls and card championships, gymkhanas, family and children's activities, concerts and cultural performances.
