La Geria Traditional Grape Harvest & Virgen de la Caridad

Festivities in the protected landscape of La Geria in honour of the Virgen de la Caridad, closely tied to the area's winemaking culture. On the 14th a traditional get-together brings winegrowers and neighbours together with folk bands. On the 15th comes the traditional grape harvest, reviving the historic sight of camels carrying the grapes from the vineyards to the wineries; in the afternoon, a religious service at the hermitage closes with an offering and a folk group performance.
