This is the religious celebration of the patron of Playa Honda's parish, St. Helen of the Cross, whose feast day falls on 18 August. Its centrepiece is the Solemn Religious Function (Mass), with music provided by local choirs. It is Playa Honda's smaller, devotional occasion, distinct from the secular end-of-summer festival the town holds in September.
